Your role and responsibilities
We're seeking an experienced electronics design engineer with a broad skill set in the development of embedded systems. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to diverse new product development projects and provide support for existing products. You'll have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with team members, clients, partners, and suppliers.

Your responsibilities will include specifying, designing, implementing, verifying, and documenting digital and analog circuits and functions on board and device level utilizing a good working knowledge of components, materials, testing and manufacturing processes. You build and measure prototypes in lab and participate in coordinating factory builds with our manufacturing partners. You work together with mechanical engineers for electronic-mechanics integration and with software engineers for HW-SW co-development and board bring-up and verification of MCU/MPU-based systems. You participate in regulatory and standards conformance work, such as EMC and environmental testing and in design and implementation of test systems including R&D, certification, and production test systems.
To thrive in this role, it is essential to have:

Several years of electronics design experience – this is not an entry level role.

Proven digital and analog electronics design and verification skills.

Good schematic and layout design skills with at least one common electronics CAD system (Altium and PADS preferred)

Practical prototyping, testing and measurement skills

Good understanding of electronics-software co-development, board bring-up, testing and debugging

Sufficient understanding and knowledge of regulatory/standards compliance and certifications, NPI, manufacturing and lifecycle management

Relevant engineering education on college or university level or equivalent theoretical background

Analytical, systematic, problem solving-oriented approach to work

Appreciation for quality, maintainability, processes, standards, documentation, and communication

Capability for both independent work as well as smooth and supportive teamwork

Good documentation and writing skills
The following are desirable:

Software development/programming skills and experience in embedded SW development, testing and debugging

Mechanical CAD experience, MCAD-ECAD co-design, practical mechanics skills e.g., usage of tools for prototyping

RF knowledge and skills
