Your role and responsibilities

We're seeking an experienced electronics design engineer with a broad skill set in the development of embedded systems. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to diverse new product development projects and provide support for existing products. You'll have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with team members, clients, partners, and suppliers.

Your responsibilities will include specifying, designing, implementing, verifying, and documenting digital and analog circuits and functions on board and device level utilizing a good working knowledge of components, materials, testing and manufacturing processes. You build and measure prototypes in lab and participate in coordinating factory builds with our manufacturing partners. You work together with mechanical engineers for electronic-mechanics integration and with software engineers for HW-SW co-development and board bring-up and verification of MCU/MPU-based systems. You participate in regulatory and standards conformance work, such as EMC and environmental testing and in design and implementation of test systems including R&D, certification, and production test systems.

To thrive in this role, it is essential to have:

  • Several years of electronics design experience – this is not an entry level role.

  • Proven digital and analog electronics design and verification skills.

  • Good schematic and layout design skills with at least one common electronics CAD system (Altium and PADS preferred)

  • Practical prototyping, testing and measurement skills

  • Good understanding of electronics-software co-development, board bring-up, testing and debugging

  • Sufficient understanding and knowledge of regulatory/standards compliance and certifications, NPI, manufacturing and lifecycle management

  • Relevant engineering education on college or university level or equivalent theoretical background

  • Analytical, systematic, problem solving-oriented approach to work

  • Appreciation for quality, maintainability, processes, standards, documentation, and communication

  • Capability for both independent work as well as smooth and supportive teamwork

  • Good documentation and writing skills

The following are desirable:

  • Software development/programming skills and experience in embedded SW development, testing and debugging

  • Mechanical CAD experience, MCAD-ECAD co-design, practical mechanics skills e.g., usage of tools for prototyping

  • RF knowledge and skills

What do we have to offer

We offer an exceptional opportunity that goes beyond just a job. When you join our team, you'll discover a world where your work is both meaningful and engaging, surrounded by a group of talented and supportive colleagues. We take pride in partnering with world-class clients, who are recognized leaders in their industries, providing you with exposure to exciting and impactful projects that span a wide range of applications and cutting-edge technologies. With us you will not feel like a cog in the machine - on the contrary, your role is essentially important to us, and your voice is heard. You will also have an opportunity to develop your role in the growing organization and a fair chance to improve how things are done. This role has several possible development paths including senior specialist, system architecture, team leading or project/product management that you can consider based on your interest. Our compensation model is fair and comparable with others in the industry.
